et cetera.

1. my child is officially off the charts.
at 5 1/2 months she:

weighs 23 lbs.
is 27 1/2 inches long.

that would be >98 percentile. eep.

2. i pumped 10 oz today at work. i used to pump 20 but recently it’s been about 6. so that’s something like progress.

3. my jude, she gets up on her hands and knees and rocks. and then she typically does a face plant and cries. she can also scootch backwards, which pisses her off to no end.

4. i have a craving to take some black and white photos. it’s been so long. i think it has something to the starkness of the season. here’s an old photo i took of a neighborhood kiddo playing football.
the concentration of a boy.

[yes, there once was a time when my flickr page contained photos of subjects other than my child. i have so become that person.]
