i don’t want to say this too loudly, but i have had very little nausea since thursday. i’ve felt–dare i say it?–good. we’ve had days full of activity, and i’ve had the energy to keep up.
yesterday was gorgeous: grey and windy and 70 degrees. for the first time since i’ve been pregnant, i dusted off my bike, and we spent the whole day bicycling around our neighborhood. we went to cafe mundi, the best coffeeshop in austin, and had the vegan delight lunch. and oh yumminess: wheatroast and cabbage and cucumbers and spinach and carrots and mustard on focaccia. served with fresh-made chips (from the tortilla factory across the street) and homemade salsa. i savored every bite. and we biked over to rio rita, another favorite haunt, and enjoyed their cheese plate. before going home last night, we biked to the grocery store and picked up the makings for a colossal salad, which we enjoyed in our jammies, all lounged out and watching some 30 rock. (all activities commencing afterward are confidential and the hottness.)
yesterday, i actually forgot i was pregnant–until i could feel my uterus while riding my bike, which was weird–and my body was just so…happy to be exerting itself. my legs and heart and arms and back hummed with energy, and i felt absolutely blissed out.
i’m tired and sore today, but still really happy.
oh, and re: tmi entry…exercise = one of the big guns. and it worked!
